The mother of pop icon Britney Spears allegedly backed her car into an overly aggressive photographer last weekend. Spears, her mom, and her sister, were at a Santa Monica pet store this past weekend picking out pooches. The pet parade attracted a pack of photo hounds, who crowded around the Spears women as they boarded Lynne Spears' SUV.
According to photos and witness testimony, a member of the paparazzi moved in for a money shot as Mama Spears was pulling away. The shutterbug, Colin Reavley, fell to the pavement, claiming Lynne had run over his foot.
The visibly shaken pop star apparently wanted to make a run for it, but her mother stayed put until police and paramedics arrived on the scene. Reavley was taken to a hospital, treated and released without any broken bones. His family is purportedly considering retaining a lawyer.
But cops didn't think Lynne was to blame. They didn't give her so much as a ticket, chalking the incident up to "paparazzi misconduct".
